Scuba Show Expo returns to Long Beach in-person May 14–15 2022
After an extended safety stop, Scuba Show returns in-person to the Long Beach Convention Center (LBCC) May 14 – 15, 2022.
Now in its 35th year, Scuba Show is the USA’s largest consumer scuba diving expo. We like to call it the best gathering of divers above sea level. The expo brings together thousands of attendees and hundreds of companies from across the scuba diving spectrum for a weekend showcasing all of the sport’s possibilities under one roof. Our goal at the Scuba Show is to create an environment that energizes attendees’ passion for scuba diving, fosters real connections and sends them home to reconnect with their local dive communities.
The in-person Scuba Show was canceled in 2020 and again in 2021 due to COVID and local and federal restrictions. The state of California fully reopened last summer and the LBCC has been hosting large events since August of 2021.
In lieu of the in-person event the last two years, Scuba Show brought a virtual version of the expo to attendees. This virtual element — which allowed attendees to access all exhibitors, show specials, new products, and pre-recorded seminars — will become an integral part of the show, turning on when the live event ends, to help foster a connection with consumers well beyond the convention center doors and for months after the Show.
At the time of cancellation, 247 exhibitors had registered for the 2020 Scuba Show and the large majority are confirmed to exhibit this year. While we are still waiting to hear from a handful of exhibitors, we are now opening the application process to all of the exhibitors that had not yet registered when we canceled the Show back in 2020, and accepting applications for new companies that would like to exhibit.
If you are interested in securing a booth at Scuba Show 2022 (diving-related companies only please), or if you would like more information about exhibiting, visit www.scubashow.com or contact Mark Young at mail@scubashow.com.
The Scuba Show team is working with convention center staff and closely following local and federal health guidelines to ensure this year’s in-person event is safe and successful
We are beyond excited to welcome the dive industry back to Long Beach in May!
Why Exhibit at SCUBA Show?
The SCUBA Show is held in a world-class venue and draws attendees from the Western states and beyond. Attendees come to learn about their options – and to become your customers.
The promotion for this year’s show will exceed any in the past. SCUBA Show has been America’s largest consumer dive expo for years. We are committed to keeping this the best show produced. The SCUBA Show is must-see for attendees – that makes it a must-do for exhibitors.
Ask your industry friends about the show.
Why California?
California is the #1 state in the US for number of divers and number of dive certifications. It is a magnet for divers from surrounding states. It’s also the country’s largest market for dive equipment sales and consistently at the top for dive travel.
